Teen fatally stabbed near party
Associated Press:
Montgomery County police continue to search for three suspects believed responsible for stabbing a teenager to death in Germantown this weekend.
It happened early Sunday in the 22000 block of Canterfield Way. Police say when they arrived about 1:30 a.m., they found 18-year-old Ezekiel Babendreier in the street. He'd been stabbed at least once and died a short time later at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
Authorities say the victim was attending a party in the neighborhood when he was approached by three men in the street. The men had not been in attendance at the party. There was an apparent argument between them, and one of the suspects stabbed Babendreier. The suspects then fled the scene in a black, four-door car.
Police say all three suspects are young black men.
The suspect seen with the knife is described as about 5'10" tall and 160 pounds. He is believed to be between 18 and 22 years old. Police say he has cornrows and was wearing a black do-rag, a black tank top and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
The second suspect is described as 5'4" and 160 to 170 pounds. He has short black hair. Police say he appeared to be about 16 years old. He was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt.
The third suspect was not seen.
Police say Babendreier had just graduated from Damascus High School and was planning to attend college this fall.

Oddly enough, or maybe not, when I read this, neither of the links you provide have any information about the ethnicity of the suspects. We can see the victim is white because there is a foto in the Washington Post story, which you reproduce here (I assume). Where did the text you highlight -- "all three suspects are young black men" -- originally come from? The AP link now claims to be "updated", and to provide "new details"; apparently there was no longer room for all "details", e.g. the race/ethnicity of obviously dangerous and still at large suspects has been completely dropped -- they've now become just "three men".
Note what is not at all an untypical pattern: rather precise physical descriptions are given, even including the style and color of clothing, yet nothing about the color of the suspects' skin. Or in this case, perhaps it was given at first, but later edited out. Why this selective omission of facts is so often done is something for everyone to think about.
IMO it is done so that the daily news does not constantly reinforce in the minds of whites the fact that non-whites commit a large and disproportionate share of serious, violent crime, which would seem to clash with the media's pumping of diversity, and would only exacerbate racial tensions, all of which PC reporters and editors have decided cannot be allowed.
An interesting book 'Coloring the News' by McGowan goes into many aspects of this.
It seems that the original Associated Press article has been "updated" with the new version having no mention of the perpetrators being black.
