Six murders and 12 rapes inside the New Orleans Superdome

A doctor who's been tending to the sick and wounded inside the New Orleans Superdome for the last two days described a horrific scene Thursday night.
Asked about the level of violence among the 20,000 displaced residents who sought shelter inside the giant stadium, Dr. Charles Burnell told Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren:
"We had three murders last night. We had a total of six rapes last night. We had the day before, I think, there were three or four murders. There were half-a-dozen rapes that night. We had one suicide last night. We had one military policeman shot."
Dr. Burnell described the Superdome situation as "very unstable, very high tension, a very dangerous environment."
While National Guardsmen were on hand for protection, he said that "every time there was an incident that broke out, they had to tend to that, which left us uncovered."
Burnell said the task of treating people inside the stadium became impossible after they ran out of supplies. "We did not have oxygen, we did not have any medications to speak of," he said.
But what forced the New Orleans doc to finally abandon the giant evacuation center was the threat of violence.
"Until I can insure that I'm not putting my life in any significantly dangerous situation as I was before - I will not be back in the Superdome," he told Fox.

the truth is revealed when stress arises. the races do show their true differences in the wake of tragedy and chaos. it is hard to find news sorces that will tell of these truths , but even more rare do you find the races of the perpe trators and victims. a horrific events such as this is simply an opportunity for the predators to hunt on prey. no one wants to believe that "people" can act this way. eventually the true colors show through. our thoughts are with our white brethern....i can only hope you are armed and band together to help one another through this horror.

Correction, A white male might have been the one involved in that one rape but all the information and news footage speaks clearly for itself that it was mostly blacks doing the looting, raping violence. What you have here is a race of people that act and behave like pure animals PERIOD! It's always the white mans fault. Well I didn't see Jesse Jackson or any of the big shot blacks sending food, water or aide for their own people just bitching about what the white man didn't do quick enough! Now for all you bleeding harts that say how I am terrible I say kiss my ass and see how you would be if you were actually there and had to live in that KAOS.
Your time could be better spent helping someone rather than tearing someone down.
No, they can't think for themselves and that is precisely why they live "well below the poverty level".
The fact that New Orleans is disproportionately black is also why so much chaos is being reported. You certainly don't hear of such atrocities when storms lash the Florida Keys...predominantly white. This is not to say that there aren't bad white folk...there certainly are.
New Orleans is polluted with vermin who failed to do for themselves and now wish to blame-shift to the US government.
I, too, must echo the idea that the atrocities in Africa during the past 20 years more than outweighs all of the plunder in Europe for the past 2,000. The difference, here, is that the Europeans evolved. Africans just can't seem to pull that one out of the hat.
Oh, and before you label-tossers jump in...this isn't "hate"...it's reality.
Fascism and racism led Europeans to WWII with 40+ Millions dead. Even George Bush knows that.
