Reports of the arrest of seven suspected Muslim terrorists has 27% of Denmark negative towards Muslim immigrants

Copenhagen Post:

More than one in four Danes has become more suspicious of Muslims in Denmark after reports of seven young Muslims being arrested on terror suspicion, daily newspaper Urban reported on Monday.

Accoring to an opinion poll conducted by Instant-Answer for the newspaper, 27 percent of 1500 respondents said the arrest of the seven suspects had changed their opinion of Muslims in Denmark for the worse.

'It's grotesque to lump all Muslims together and conclude that all Muslims are either terrorists or sympathise with them,' said Niels-Erik Hansen, leader of the Documentation and Consultation Centre on Racial Discrimination. 'It's a dangerous development and a sign that there is a growing breeding ground for racism in the country.
