Rape and immigration in Sweden

Swedish girls Malin and Amanda were on their way to a party on New Year's Eve when they were assaulted, raped and beaten half to death by four Somali immigrants. Sweden's largest newspaper has presented the perpetrators as "two men from Sweden, one from Finland and one from Somalia", a testimony as to how bad the informal censorship is in stories related to immigration in Sweden. Similar incidents are reported with shocking frequency, to the point where some observers fear that law and order is completely breaking down in the country. The number of rape charges in Sweden has tripled in just above twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six - 6 - times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have rapidly increased, too. Instability is spreading to most urban and suburban areas.
According to a new study from the Crime Prevention Council, Brå, it is four times more likely that a known rapist is born abroad, compared to persons born in Sweden. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. According to these statistics, almost half of all perpetrators are immigrants. In Norway and Denmark, we know that non-Western immigrants, which frequently means Muslims, are grossly overrepresented on rape statistics. In Oslo, Norway, immigrants were involved in two out of three rape charges in 2001. The numbers in Denmark were the same, and even higher in the city of Copenhagen with three out of four rape charges. Sweden has a larger immigrant, including Muslim, population than any other country in northern Europe. The numbers there are likely to be at least as bad as with its Scandinavian neighbors. The actual number is thus probably even higher than what the authorities are reporting now, as it doesn't include second generation immigrants. Lawyer Ann Christine Hjelm, who has investigated violent crimes in Svea high court, found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists were born on foreign soil or by foreign parents.
Hopefully the connection between immigrants and violent crime will make policy-makers see that the costs of immigration greatly outweigh the benefits.

Everytime I go to check Swedish news on the web(since I live in Sweden), I keep finding stuff from this site. Everytime without fail it is about linking immigrants with crime. It is always about painting non-white immigrants as criminals.
There are problems with Sweden. I don't like the immigration policy in Sweden since it fails in integration. But one doesn't become a criminal because they are an immigrant or a muslim. The vast majority of "new" organised crime which claims many more lives in Europe are caused by Caucasian eastern european GANGS. These are gangs and immigration is just allowing gangs schooled in curruption and guns from the east to move more easily. Non gang eastern europeans are good people.
In England, muslims and immigrants in general show a very low crime rate compared to the indiginous white and black population.
In Sweden, most murders are still committed by white swedes, hells angels, white eastern european gangs etc. Don't report immigrant crime as if Sweden will be heaven if it weren't for immigrants. Violent is increasing for 2 reasons in my opinion. 1st, the criminal justice system is lenient. This allows gangs, disgruntled youth (yes, there are more of these in unintegrated immigrant communities)and general hardened criminals to grow. Secondly, the population is growing, so more people is inevitably more crime.
I'm not going to accuse you of racism, you would probably feel like it's just another emotional response from some leftist sensitive person. But you are not fair and not responsible!!!

Before getting started on your blog, note these facts:
Muslims are by far the largest immigrant group in Europe. In every European country where they have a significant presence, when you compare them to the natives,
muslims are 1) significantly more likely to be criminals, and 2) far less likely to do well in school, e.g. to attend a university and afterward to get a professional level job.
As your first entry, please explain how it could possibly be a good idea to import a population of people like that.
As if the language and cultural differences were not a big enough problem.
Research idea: check this out for other major immigrant groups as well.

It isn't the job of government, i.e. Swedish taxpayers, to 'integrate' (whatever that means) immigrants who voluntarily come to Sweden.

This isn't the question -- rather, what is interesting to know is whether immigrants, or those with immigrant backgrounds, commit a disproportionate share of crime. This helps get an idea of the cost/benefit ratio for immigration to a country. And if the costs outweigh the benefits...
It is childishly obvious that since native Swedes are still a big majority, they will be committing most of the crime.

I guess that explains your philosophy on posting stuff. It's not what is fact, what is fair and what is morally correct. It's about putting what you want in it.
I guess one point of a blog is expressing how you feel and you are entitled to do so and it is fine to do so, just don't try and pass it off as fact.
When you suggest that muslim = criminal then that is an unfair untruth. You will find the crime rate among muslims in the US disproportionately low. The integration is different. If you are interested in the truth, then try to find the truth.
I am not muslim. And I find very little in Islam that I sympathise with or particularly respect. I don't like the influence of religion on people's ability to adapt to a host country or the influence of religion on state (in America or Iran).
A state needs to decide how many immigrants it can take and work out how to integrate them into society. it is the responsibility primarily of the government and then to the individual. You can hardly blame and non-english speak immigrant who arrives in New York and wants to find someone who speaks his language. But a government must make sure that he can be pulled out to join society. Sweden must make sure it does not take more than it needs and dump them in areas where discontent and therefore crime grows.
Immigration has different faces. The particular society that an immigrant is in plays a part as well as the culture and also the circumstances of immigration. Some communities turn to crime while others from the same country and culture are so hardworking and never commit crime.
For example, Chinese immigrants in Ireland are known as the most hardworking, while Chinese immigrants in other countries run sophisticated organised crime.
Indian immigrants in UAE are domestic workers for the Arabs while in England, they are the heart of the small business community and score higher grades in schools than white British children. South American immigrants in Sweden from Chile who came as refugees during the Pinochet era are very swedish and are completely integrated - they don't seek out fellow south americans to hang out with because they are part of their swedish community. Their children have Swedish names. Chileans in some corners in USA are illegals workers living on the breadline and doing dodgy work under the tax system. African immigrants (not Carribean) in the UK from countries other than Nigeria tend to be highly educated and model citizens. They live side by side with poorer Black immigrants in crime-ridden areas but are generally non-criminal. In France it is different.
You think you know about immigration? It's not as simple as your colour-coded or religious-coded view. By all means you can shout about muslims but let it be known that it's how you feel, not the truth!

Of course! The whole point of having a blog is to put what you want into it. As much as possible, I try to use mainstream media sources for my posts so if you have a problem with what appears in my blog I suggest you contact the journalists themselves. After all, if they didn't write it, it wouldn't appear in my blog.
