Investigators are looking for a man who has assaulted and tried to rape at least two women in Federal Way

Authorities said he attacked a woman at the Celebration Park Apartments off South 320th Monday.

They also believe he struck last week about two blocks away, at the Federal Way Library.

In both attacks, the women were able to fight back and escape.

"He tried to remove their clothing in each of those attacks. He tried to overcome them. He was forceful, overpowered them by choking them, hitting them, that sort of thing," said Stacy Flores with Federal Way police.

Authorities have increased patrols in the area and they're urging women to walk in pairs.

Investigators have also released three sketches based on descriptions from the victims. They look different because he was remembered differently by the victims who fought him off in the dark.

The attacker is described as Hispanic, 28 to 32 years old. He's 5 feet 9 inches tall, heavy set with black hair and a thin mustache.
