Another 5-9 gang member behind bars, police look for 1 more

A gang crackdown by police has put another wanted member behind bars.

A second of three members of a local gang, The 5-9 Bounty Hunters, has now been caught by HPD’s Gang Murder Squad.

Bianca Johnson was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and Derrick Dwayne West, also known as “D-West” surrendered Wednesday night.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault in the shootings of two people.

Now authorities are looking for Kevin Curry, known on the street as “Fast Black” or “Smooth Black.”

Houston police said he killed one man and injured another during a shooting in February on Forum Park.
