A Tanzanian rapist who fractured the skull of his victim before leaving her for dead has been jailed indefinitely in Britain

BBC News:

Tanzanian George Mtoka, 29, of Arthur Street, Kingsthorpe, Northampton, followed his 25-year-old victim through the streets of the town for an hour.

The woman still needs 24-hour hospital care after suffering massive brain injuries in the attack last November, and may never return home.

The Northampton Crown Court judge said the sentence was for public protection.

Mtoka was convicted of rape and of causing grievous bodily harm with intent last month.

CCTV footage showed Mtoka following his victim through the streets before he attacked her.

She was found unconscious in the garden of a house more than four hours after the attack, suffering from hypothermia and with massive brain injuries.

Judge Charles Wide QC told Mtoka: "You behaved in a way to that vulnerable young woman which can only be described as brutal.

"You brutally raped her and brutally physically attacked her, leaving her with dreadful injuries."

He said Mtoka would only be considered for release after seven years if he was no longer thought a danger to the public, but added he could be in prison for much longer. Then he would be deported.

Let us hope that he dies in prison.

It's almost funny the way these English judges feel compelled to hurl reproaches at these animals who are trotted out before them.
