Two men have been arrested in the gang rape of an 11-year-old girl in Milwaukee

TMJ4:

Freeman Gurley Darnell Chaney

The two were in court where a commissioner determined there is enough evidence for both men to go to trial.

The 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by up to 19 men and boys, while an older girl guided her on. According to police, the attack took place on Labor Day in a home near 6th and Vienna.

Forty-year-old Freeman Gurley is the oldest man arrested.

According to the criminal complaint, he found the victim at the home engaging in sex acts with younger boys. He joined them, and is now charged with first degree sexual assault of a child.

Commissioner Grace Flynn ordered Gurley to have no contact with the girl, "You cannot see her in person. You cannot write to her. You can't telephone her. You can't email her. You can't send a message through another, a third party. And I don't care if it's a good or bad message, you can't have any communication with her."

The second man in court Saturday was 18-year-old Darnell Chaney. He was charged with first degree sexual assault of a child. Chaney was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Bail for both men was set at $100,000. If convicted, they each face up to 60 years in prison.

They are scheduled to return to court on September 19.

Two juveniles have also been arrested and charged in the case.

Milwaukee Police are still looking for at least five more suspects.
