Bond has been denied for one of four men charged in a carjacking that turned into the double murder of a young Knoxville couple

WATE:

A federal judge determined Eric Boyd is a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Boyd is charged as an accessory in the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

A trial date is set for March 28.

Boyd has been convicted previously in several armed robberies.

According to a criminal complaint in the double murder investigation, Boyd led police to a vacant home where another suspect, Lemaricus Davidson, was hiding.

Boyd said he was supposed to return to that house with food for Davidson. He said the pair had broken into the house and hidden there after intense media attention on the murders.
