England: The family of a businessman from Bradford say they fear he has been kidnapped while on a trip to Pakistan

BBC News:

Salman Sabir, whose family run a textile business in the Heaton area of the city, went missing on 20 April.

He was dropped off by a driver in Karachi for a meeting, but when his car arrived to pick him up two hours later, he had vanished without trace.

His sister-in-law, Sheena Aziz, said the family now feared the worst and believed he had been kidnapped.

She said the family had heard reports of other kidnappings in the city in the past month. Her husband has now travelled to Pakistan to search for his brother.

She said: "It is not the first time he has gone over for a business meeting, but in this incident, because he went on his own, he got dropped off.

"That was the only mistake he made. He shouldn't have gone on his own."

Mrs Aziz said the police in Pakistan were investigating Mr Sabir's disappearance.
