Illegal immigrant used teen as sex slave

A PIMP who raped a terrified teenager 30 times before putting her to work as a sex slave has been jailed for 12 years.

Albanian illegal immigrant Agrol Xhabri, 22, kidnapped the 17-year-old girl from her father's home and kept her prisoner for two months, threatening to "cut her up into little pieces" and only releasing her to work gruelling 12-hour shifts in brothels.

The pretty girl was chaperoned to and from brothels in King's Cross, Tottenham and Chingford by Xhabri, who took all her earnings and dished out regular beatings if she refused to comply.

Snaresbrook Crown Court heard that the girl came to London from Latvia to visit her father and learn English last summer.

But she was abducted and locked up in the bedroom of Xhabri's home in Manor Park, east London, between September 1 and November 12 last year.

Jailing sobbing Xhabri for his "despicable"crimes, Judge Martin Reynolds said: "I have no doubt that you have done incalculable harm to that young girl.

"You used her for your own sexual gratification and then sent her to work as a prostitute so that you could give up your own work and live a lifestyle of leisure."

Xhabri, of Strone Road, East Ham, denied two sample counts of rape, false imprisonment, making threats to kill and controlling prostitution for gain during a two-week trial.

But a jury of six men and six convicted him on all counts, though the two rape charges were majority verdicts of 10 to two.

He was jailed for 12 years for each count of rape and 12 years for false imprisonment, to be served concurrently. He was also sentenced to five years for making threats to kill and controlling prostitution, to be served concurrently.

He must also sign on the sex offenders' register for life and will be deported at the end of his prison term.
