Life for 'sex blackmail' murderer

A man who admitted murdering an old schoolfriend, who blackmailed him about exposing himself to her when they were children, has been jailed for life.
Mohamed Arshad, 38, strangled Mussarat Nazir, 37, with a rope, doused her with petrol and set her car alight.
The taxi driver from Newport had given heroin addict Mrs Nazir £20,000 before she demanded £4,000 more.
A judge at Cardiff Crown Court said he would serve a minimum of 10 years in what he called an "exceptional" case.
Arshad had denied murder but changed his plea after the jury visited the scene of the crime, a remote spot at Duffryn, Newport.
Arshad, a father-of-one, would have been able to make his escape in his own vehicle just after the murder last December, but for the chance arrival of two passers-by.
The court heard that he had been driven to commit the murder in an attempt to protect the honour of his family.
Arshad and his victim used to walk to school together as children, but at the age of 13 he exposed himself to her.
It was an incident, said Judge John Griffiths Williams, recorder of Cardiff, that had been "quickly forgotten".
But a chance meeting years later gave Mrs Nazir, who was by then in the grip of a heroin addiction, the opportunity to demand money in return for her silence.
The judge told Arshad: "There is considerable mitigation in this case. This was a killing in cold blood but the facts must be considered in context.
"Your concerns were the dishonour that would be brought upon you and your family if Mrs Nazir broke her silence.
"You became the victim of the evil crime of blackmail.
"I cannot and will not overlook that you were the victim of a crime which foments the spirit of the victim.
"This is a case that can be described as truly exceptional."

This is a natural law missed by Einstein: if you live in western Europe, the number of taxi drivers in your city is directly proportional to the number of muslims.
I would be interested to see a comprehensive demographic profile of muslims in the UK (or in other western European countries, for that matter). I am rather sure it will show that they are 1) very much less likely to get a higher education, and 2) more likely to be criminals than the native population.
Once this data is widely publicized, I would then like to hear politicians explain how, leaving aside other social issues, e.g. language and culture, importing en masse such a population can possibly be of long-term benefit.

Here in America, one of the reasons why politicians love immigrants so much is that they keep wages low. That is probably the reason why British politicians like them as well.
