Australian Muslim girls too young to get married in that country are being taken to Lebanon for arranged marriages

Washington Times:

The marriage age in Lebanon is 16, but some girls as young as 14 have reportedly been sent there.

Australian and Lebanese officials have been meeting for over a year after dozens of girls attempting to escape sought refuge at the Australian Embassy in Beirut.

In a practice Muslim leaders in Australia have condemned, girls are being married off to supposedly protect religious and family values in a world they view as becoming Westernized.

Australian officials are meeting with Muslim communities to discuss the issue and options.

You'd think feminist groups and Hillary Clinton (heck, and the UN Human Rights Commission) would be more critical of Islam. Their silence speaks volumes about what they really believe.
