Irish police set to seek extradition of Nigerian murder suspect

GardaĆ are set to seek the extradition of a Nigerian man following the murder of his wife in Dublin two and a half years ago.
Goodwill Udechuckwu (aged 31) disappeared after his Jamaican wife, Natasha Gray, was found beaten to death in her home in the Phibsboro area in February 2003.
On Monday, he was arrested by police in London on suspicion of shoplifting and is due to appear in court today.
GardaĆ are due to travel to the British capital today to begin the process of lodging an extradition request.
