Court sides with comic over Jewish TV sketch
Expatica:
A Paris appeals court Wednesday confirmed the acquittal of comedian Dieudonné, who was accused of racism for appearing on television dressed as an Orthodox Jew and giving the Nazi salute.
Jewish groups took the case to appeal in May after a lower court found in favour of Dieudonné, a 37 year-old of French-Cameroonian parents with a large following among black and Arab immigrants.
But the appeals court agreed that the comic's skit did not lampoon Jews as a group, but right-wing Israelis.
Dieudonné, whose real name is Dieudonné M'Bala M'Bala, caused outrage among Jewish groups in December 2003 when he performed his sketch on national television, jokingly urging French youth to "join the Axis of Good: the American-Zionist Axis".

It's too bad so many French don't seem to feel any or enough "outrage" about how many "black and Arab immigrants" are now in the country. You get the feeling there is not much hope for France at this point.

Was there ever much hope for France? Their first instinct seems to be to surrender to the enemy.
