Investigators said a woman was walking along University Boulevard Monday at 5 a.m. when she said a man jumped from some bushes, put a knife to her throat and pulled her into his car.

The victim said the man drove her to a neighborhood located near the University of Central Florida campus and then raped her on the ground near some apartments.

The woman escaped and ran to a nearby Burger King where she called police.

Police released a composite photo of the man described in the attack.

"The kidnapping and rape has struck fear in the minds of many neighbors where the incident allegedly occurred," Local 6 News reporter Jessica D'Onofrio said.

"I'm shocked actually," resident Steve Scaife said. "It is always a quiet neighborhood."

The culprit wanted for the attack is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s to early 30s with a thick black mustache.

Officers are also searching for a black Mercury Marquis with tinted windows.
