Woman was dragged as one of men in truck took her purse

Houston Chronicle:



At 3:05 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2005, two men in a new white Ford F150 pickup drove alongside a woman walking in a parking lot at 17100 Tomball Parkway. The passenger reached out and grabbed the woman's purse, dragging her several feet before she let it go. A witness helped compile a composite of the driver. The men are believed to be involved in several similar cases.

The driver was described as black, 20-26 years old, 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 9, of average build and wearing a do-rag; the passenger was black, 17-22 years old, with a dark-brown complexion and wearing a black baseball cap.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and charging of anyone involved in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous.
