The Iberia sheriff's office has announced the arrest of a New Orleans man wanted in connection with an April murder in New Iberia

According to Sheriff Sid Hebert, Ricardo Irvin was arrested at a residence in Baton Rouge just a few hours ago.

He'll be transported back to New Iberia soon to face a first degree murder charge.

He's accused of shooting 18-year-old Jamon Rogers to death and wounding one of Rogers' friends.
