Illegal immigrant from Iran jumps bail in Britain after being charged with rape

The Sun:

POLICE today appealed for the public's help in tracing an illegal immigrant who jumped bail after being charged with two serious sex offences.

Iranian Mohammed Reza Telabi Zamani, 36, is considered to be extremely dangerous by detectives, who took the unusual step of releasing a photograph of him today.

He is accused of raping a young woman in December 2003 in Bristol and attempting to rape another in June last year in the same city.

Zamani, who police believe may be working as an unlicensed cab driver, failed to attend court on February 17.

They warn that he may drink at bars in Bristol's popular Waterfront and Park Street areas.

Zamani had a temporary visa to live in the UK but overstayed and is now in the country illegally.

He was arrested in November last year and charged with the two offences.

Judge Carol Hagen granted him bail at Bristol Crown Court, while he was being detained for the offences.

But he failed to appear in court in February and has been on the run ever since.

Why am I not surprised that rapists are let out on bail in Britain...

"the unusual step"

Here you see the true craziness of racially sensitive political correctness -- apparently, releasing the foto of an "extremely dangerous" at-large suspect is something extraordinary. Oh? And exactly why would that be?
