A Miami man has been arrested and charged with raping a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino employee

Davie police said on Monday that 27-year-old Ricardo Guillaume was arrested in Miami and charged with sexual battery and attempted murder.

Police released surveillance video from the Hard Rock parking lot in August after an employee reported that she was raped after a man followed home from the bar where she worked.

Police said that a resident recognized Guillaume as the man in the video and called police.

The victim also positively identified Guillaume as her attacker, according to police.

The surveillance video showed the man driving a 2006 black Chevrolet Monte Carlo, which police said is registered to Guillaume’s wife.

Guillaume was being held in the Miami-Dade County Jail awaiting extradition to Broward County.
