British MEP on immigration

A British MEP speaks out against immigration:

Britain is being “stolen” by mass immigration, Robert Kilroy-Silk said at the launch of his new party Veritas today.

The MEP promised “quite startlingly different” policies on migration and asylum at the Westminster launch.

And the former chat show host vowed to stand up against the “nonsense” of multi-culturalism.

Mr Kilroy-Silk set up Veritas – Latin for “truth” – after quitting the UK Independence Party following a failed leadership bid.

Today the ex-Labour MP promised a broader prospectus than UKIP with policies on defence, crime, drugs and immigration.

He said: “Our country is being stolen from us and we have never been asked for our permission.”

Conservatives and Labour promised to control immigration and asylum but had surrendered powers to Brussels, he said.

The UK should be able to control its borders like France, Germany, Australia and the US, he said.
