An illegal migrant charged in the death of a Lantana mother will be deported back to Mexico

An illegal migrant charged in the death of a Lantana mother will be deported after striking a plea deal.

Daniel Mendoza will finish out a 6-month sentence, and then he'll be deported back to Mexico.

Back in September of 2005, police said Mendoza made a U-turn, then suddenly stopped when he thought he lost his cell phone.

That's when Kimberly Dahmer and her husband, Steve, smashed their harley into the back of Mendoza's truck.

Kimberly was killed and Steve was badly injured.

Mendoza was driving without a license and had been arrested at least three other times before for the same charge.
